Principle – Our lives are naturally aligned or oriented according to the energy, position & movement of the Sun & Moon but the modern education-system & our lifestyle does not have the basic awareness or the connection & synchronization with the solar-cycle. RAVIYOG is an effort to bring about the necessary awareness, training & orientation to develop a certain harmony between the energy & movement of the Sun & Moon and our life-cycle.

The meaning of ‘RAVIYOG’ – ‘RAVI’ means the Sun & ‘YOG’ means union. It means to ‘learn to live’ in union with the energy & movement of the Sun. 
It is based on the concept of – Spirituality in Practical life, and Learning by Sharing Life Experiences. The energy & movement of the Sun and the Solar-cycle is the most fundamental, spiritual & scientific principle of life & Mother Nature. 

It includes very basic & fundamental, ‘spiritual & scientific’ ‘knowledge & practices’ which are ‘relevant & practical’ in the present times, and which must be ‘accessible & available’ to ‘everyone & everywhere.’ The best way to be prepared for the unknown-unpredictable future is to have the spiritual-knowledge & awareness about the fundamental principles of life & Mother Nature. 

The natural healing/rejuvenation of life is necessary by the 5 fundamental elements of Mother Nature, i.e., the energy of air, water, earth, fire & sky/space, to revise-renew the life with happiness & fulfilment. The spiritual-yoga program is based on the concept of Spirituality in Practical Life – we learn, follow & practice the 3 fundamental principles, spiritual & scientific, for self-growth & development and it begins from the first day sunrise, as follows –

Spirituality in Practical Life means a living experience of spiritual values of life in thoughts, emotions, actions & intentions. It is about all about living with the necessary humane sense that is sensible, science & spiritual. In present times we do not need great enlightenment of knowledge & wisdom or any superpower in everyday life. We just need to learn, follow, and practice basic concepts of  Spiritual & life sciences to begin with positive changes in our lives.

RAVIYOG is the result of my spiritual-life and everything that I have learned in the journey to recovery & transformation through the energy & movement of the Sun. I went through a very difficult phase of life when I lost everything that I had learned & earned in 27-28 years of my life. It became very clear that the career-oriented education & training was useful only to get some certificates but I had no education or self-awareness about the life & well-being. 

The yoga-exercises have many benefits like anti-ageing; to maintain fitness, flexibility, & good health and it improves the immune system etc. The spiritual-yoga gives all the benefits of yoga-exercises combined with yoga-practices to overcome stress, anxiety-depression and other mental-emotional health issues or imbalances, to achieve or enhance the mental-emotional strength & stability, and to maintain the resourceful state of body & mind. 

It includes many spiritual-topics that are useful & relevant in practical life, summarized in 5 points, as follows – 

  • Understanding of the Sun & Moon cycle, related to the position of Sun & Moon as per the Vedic-astrology birth chart of an individual person

The Sun rises every day – and every day is a new day. It is very important that we are aware of some of the very fundamental aspects of the day-night, something more than just a date. Sun-return, i.e., the return of Sun to the same zodiac sign at the same degrees, as per the birth chart, it is the real-birthday but we celebrate it just by an English-calendar date without any awareness about the energy, position & movement of the Sun & Moon. In the same way, the return of other planets to the same positions as per the birth-chart of a person, at different stages and age of life, shows/creates different kinds of changes in life, it is related to the life-changing events-experiences. So, the spiritual yoga program is not just about the astrology-predictions or yoga-postures. 

Method of preparing/maintaining the life-notes everyday – There are 12 months in a year and 12 zodiac signs. The Sun transit for each zodiac sign takes a month and the Moon covers all the 12 zodiac signs in one lunar month of 28-29 days, i.e. in one year the Moon will transit a zodiac sign 12- 13 times, only. So, it is possible to prepare the notes for each year in 24 topics/titles – 12 topics for Sun transit in each zodiac sign and 1 heading/title for Moon transit in each zodiac sign, 12-13 times in one year. Let us start. 

In this way, if we learn about the importance of each day with an awareness about the energy & movement of the Sun & Moon, and the qualities/significance of each zodiac sign, then we can have a practical-reference of our own life, in terms of our own possibilities, choices & opportunities and to co-relate the real-life events & experiences with the energy & movement of the Sun & Moon. It can be very useful to plan-prepare and focus the life-energy, it can significantly improve the situations/circumstances of our lives and living conditions simply by awareness.

The spiritual-yoga coaching & consultation includes the following points- 

1. To learn & understand our own breathing, energy and the life path or pattern.

In our physical body there are different organs which function to maintain the energy balance and to keep us alive. The stomach, heart, lungs, brain etc. have different functions in the physical body but the life itself is not a physical thing but an energy form. The ‘breath’ is the practical-reference of the life-force or the life-energy and breathing is not just a process of inhalation & exhalation of air-oxygen, it is a life-process. It is very important learn & understand how it exists and functions within each one of us. I help a person to use the breathing & energy pattern as the practical reference to co-relate with the life-pattern, and the real-life events & experiences. 

Q – Breathing is a life-process – what does it mean?
A – It means that in the process of breathing we really have nothing to do, as-long-as we maintain our own health & well-being and by not creating any blockages in breathing process or respiratory system.
Another example – food-digestion is also a life-process but our role is important to make the right choice, i.e., what, when, where, and how we eat etc. Our level of awareness in the process of eating, food choice etc. will make all the difference.
In the same way, it is important to realize/recognize – what is our role/responsibility in the process of life? What can we do and what is beyond our capacity/control?
The knowledge & awareness about our own possibilities, choices & opportunities, it can improve the ability to deal with practical life situations & circumstances in a better way and it can help us to decide/create the future of our life.

2. To improve the performance with simple process/exercises of alertness & awareness, breathing observation practices and paying attention to the result/response of the body & mind. Awareness is the effortless alertness. 

3. To help a person to recover, heal and transform their lives on physical, mental, and emotional levels through the spiritual-yoga practices. 4. To help a person relax, to bring their energy at ease, to achieve and to maintain resourceful state of body & mind, and to help them experience the calmness of mind and lightness of heart. Meditation is an experience – the awareness of the process of breathing & the flow of energy is an expression of life and the experience of meditation. Spiritual-yoga practices can help us to achieve the state of meditation and to experience the meditation. 

5. The consultation starts with basic yoga-meditation & breathing practices at sunrise, combined with astrology consultation.
Also, a consultation report is prepared as per the birth-details, it is based on Vedic astrology system to explain the position of Sun & Moon in the birth-chart. RAVIYOG astrology – I do not focus on the prediction of future events but on the observation of events according to position & movement of the Sun, to learn & understand the possibilities, choices & opportunities. There is a big difference between possibility & prediction; although, majority of the people ask for prediction but it is important to understand that once we have the necessary spiritual awareness about the possibilities, choices & opportunities then it becomes very easy to make predictions. The game of life is not fixed, it depends on possibilities and a person with higher awareness will have higher possibilities to play a higher/bigger role. 

6. The yoga-practices must be followed for a specific duration of time – according to the position & movement of the Sun & Moon.
We are a product of time and we must learn & understand that there is great impact of the time-period on our life & personality, in many ways it is related to the way we may think, feel &/or act at certain times. The spiritual-yoga coaching & consultation is useful to learn about the affect & effects of the time, direction & space/place, and it can help the people with serious physical, mental and emotional health issues, problems due to physical accident/injury/critical diseases like cancer etc., or any other traumatic experiences or the energy imbalances. 

7. To learn about the energy-emotion and the expression-communication – 
The ability to express oneself clearly & correctly can significantly help a person to understand & solve the problems of their lives, it can be very helpful to improve & enhance their ability to overcome their weaknesses. It improves the ability to learn, grow & evolve. Therefore, during the consultation we work together by simple methods of written or verbal communication to express & release the inner-feelings, ideas & thoughts.

Explanation – We must learn & understand that the relative-motion or the relative-interaction on energy-level has a great influence on the individual personality & perception of life. The spiritual yoga program can help the people to use or channel their energy positively, i.e., their energy, thoughts & emotions can be shared or expressed positively. It is very important and critical work because until & unless the energy & emotions do not find the right expression, the true potential or the genius of a human being will remain hidden or restricted. We may say that the blocked energy & emotions are the root cause of all kinds of psychological problems, also, it may result or lead to some kind of physical health issues because our thoughts & emotions find a way to release through physical body and vice versa, e.g., the way anger shows on the face, there are other physical expressions & actions driven by our own thoughts & emotions, including the impact on our own health. 

So, it is important to learn & understand the life-pattern, to relate with the events/experiences of life not by any kind of predictions but with a certain awareness about the patterns & principles of life, and to understand that nothing in the universe is isolated, there is no such thing as an isolated or sudden event. Everything in the universe is inter-connected & inter-dependent, as per the principle of ‘relative-motion’, just like the relative position & movement of Sun, Moon, stars & the planets, therefore, laws of physics or the laws of universe have greater significance of theory of relativity. 

It is true that the original inner-personality and perception life is reflected in the language or communication of a person. In the same way, the social-norms, family situations, the living conditions and surrounding environment, culture & tradition, education system etc. can influence, shape, or create a perspective of life and we get trained/ oriented to think, speak & act in that way – our perspective of life is reflected in the personality and vice-versa. There are many scientific experiments & evidences to show that the language and communication can influence or shape the way we think, because we get trained or oriented to use our body & mind according to the kind of language we use or in the way we express ourselves. Therefore, I request to pay very high attention to the communication, the right, clear & correct expression of the thoughts, emotions & energy. 

8. I use very simple methods & explanations in the yoga sessions & consultations so that it is easier for the people from different lifestyle or culture to connect with the spiritual-yoga program.
I focus on the very basic spiritual-yoga practices & principles, practical experiences, and the results instead of trying to learn vast theory or a bit more difficult or advanced yoga-practices of other different kinds of yoga-names and brands which have become more popular. It is very important to get some level of mastery on the fundamental practices because the basics will never change and it is the stepping stone for any kind of advanced courses & practices.
