Dincharya
Principle – We must identify & improve the pattern of our daily-life, consciously, and to make-an effort to create a new spiritual pattern of life to enhance our life-experience and living conditions. The moment we say – life cycle – it means a certain pattern repeated, and it is fundamentally dependent on the individual personality & perception of life. There can be some similarities or entirely different patterns of the events-experiences of life, based on the time-period. The spiritual awareness and the yog-sadhana, Karma, i.e., the individual choices & actions, and other factors like the blessings or support of other people can make a big difference to improve our lives or to solve the problems of life. I am sharing the very basic points – meaning there are pros & cons to everything, but as per the normal course of life these points can be used as reference.
The Sun – Culture & Tradition
‘Everyone is Equal’ – it is true only in the spiritual context of life. We can never say that everyone is equal in the socio-political system of society; it is not possible. The Sunlight & sunshine is equal for everyone, therefore, the opportunities for self-growth & development are equal for everyone with the universal energy of the Sun and Solar cycle. The energy & movement of the Sun has 2 aspects –

Spiritual aspect – The Sun – It represents the soul, and other astrology details are given in the separate article. It is the only source of light & life-energy on the planet, therefore, any kind of simple form of worship or gratitude to the Sun will support our life. It will help us to be healthy & happy, and to grow & evolve.
The Solar-Plexus (Manipurka) Chakra – It is the centre of body, centre of energy & balance, and it is ruled by the energy of the Sun. The child is connected to the body of the mother through the life-cord at the navel and through the life-cord it gets all the energy & nourishment. It is the point or the seat of energy and the energy-distribution system of body. According to Yoga, all the 72,000 Naadi in our body meet and re-distribute at the navel. Therefore, by following Raviyog Dincharya – we learn to connect with the energy of the Sun & Sun-cycle to achieve higher life-energy and to maintain resourceful-balanced state of body & mind. The spiritual aspects of the energy of the Sun are related to the power, position, recognition, abilities & authority of a person in different aspects of personal & professional life.
Practical aspect – It includes basic awareness of Solar-Year & Solar-Cycle, the details and explanation are given in the separate article. The movement of the Sun – day & night, change of weather and seasonal phenomena, the festivals of the year associated to the different aspects of the position-movement of the Sun-Moon, and the festivals-celebrations, culture & traditions associated with the Sun & Solar-cycle.
In our birth chart – the planets are at certain degrees in a particular zodiac sign. Now the life starts and time-period of life starts with the progressive movement of the planets. There is a co-relation between the Solar-cycle and our real-life events & experiences; learning & understanding the fundamental principles of life, without any meanings & interpretations, can be very useful & helpful for all the practical life purposes and for self-growth & development.
To celebrate a day – birthday or any other festival day, without any awareness about the astrology- muhurta, i.e., the significance of the day as per the position-alignment of the Sun-Moon and other planets, then it is all-right to say that every day is birthday and festival, and that is how it should be, but we know that it does not work practically.
So, it is better to celebrate the day with a certain awareness, and to use the opportunity of the special days to do something better, to have higher life-experiences.
For example – On 23 May, 2024, it was Buddha Purnima day – the Sun transit in Taurus zodiac sign and Moon was in the opposite sign, Scorpio, Vishakha Nakshatra, pada 4.
What is Buddha Purnima?
It is the Full Moon Day of Vaishakh lunar month and there is something special about this day. It is popularly known as Buddha Purnima day, as per the legend, Buddha got enlightened on this day. Although, we may understand it very well the day/date may not be the same, the times & the world has also changed, also, the exact timing or Muhurta during the Purnima-day as per the planetary positions may never be the same, but still, we go by the story and accept that it is a special day, and a special Full-Moon. So, the story and the festival are going-on based on certain spiritual-awareness.
Suppose, we observe & compare the position of Sun & Moon for the past 10 years or more, for the same day, to carefully check & compare the position of Sun-Moon and Nakshatra, then we would realize that there is something special & absolutely-unique about this day, as per the unique combination of Sun-Moon and planetary alignment. One of the best ways to understand it and to use the natural-positive energy of these special days for the self-growth & development, it is to be well- prepared for each day and to have higher awareness about the Tithi, every day.
We celebrate the 2 famous & very important festivals of Ram-Navami & Krishna-Janmashtami, as the birthday of Shri Rama & Shri Krishna. We may say that nobody knows their birth details correctly, but as per the written-scriptures we know that Shri Rama was born with exalted Jupiter combined with Moon, which is possible, only in the Cancer zodiac sign, and Shri Krishna was born on the Bhadrapada lunar-month, Ashtami Tithi, with exalted Moon, which is possible only during the Sun transit in Leo zodiac sign and the Moon transit in Taurus sign; these are very specific & special planetary-alignments, and the spiritual-awareness about these special days, the Sun-Moon cycle, can help us in our own spiritual-growth & development. In the same way, the festival & the celebration is all about the energy, the special & specific kind of natural or divine energy, or the planetary position & alignments or it is simply the celebration of the Sun-Moon cycle.
Life Cycle with Solar Cycle
Once we have this basic knowledge & understanding of the Sun-Moon cycle and the respective astrology events – then we must learn-follow our lives according to the energy of the day, to bring certain basic spiritual awareness in our daily lives. Every day creates new energy and new possibilities for each & every person according to the individual personality & perception of life, and it is very closely related to the planetary time-period.
- A solar-year according to birth chart of an individual – when Sun comes back to the natal position, i.e., the same zodiac sign, nakshatra, pada and at the exact same degrees.
- 1 st birthday as per the Tithi, i.e., when the alignment of the Moon with respect to the natal Sun happens. On this day the Moon will pass over the exact same degrees of natal position of Moon as per the birth chart w.r.t the position of the Sun.
- Jupiter return – when the Jupiter returns-back to the same position as per the birth chart after approx. 12 years, it is known as Jupiter return; it defines & decides the future possibilities of our lives for the next 12 years; the time-period of Jupiter return is very similar to the solar cycle of 12.5 years; we must consciously have a lifestyle based on 12.5 years solar cycle or Jupiter return time-period.
- Rahu-Ketu return – the position of Rahu-Ketu axis has a significant impact on our lives; in 9.5 years they reverse their positions w.r.t the position in the birth chart and then after 18 years they return-back to the natal position. Life progress and planetary dasha or time-period progression is very closely related to the transit or movement of the Rahu-Ketu shadow planets. Every year whichever zodiac signs are in the Rahu-Ketu axis – there will be 4 eclipses in the respective zodiac signs –
- When the Sun or Moon are in transit through the same zodiac sign with Rahu – there will be a solar or lunar eclipse.
- When the Sun or Moon are in transit through the same zodiac sign with Ketu – there will be a solar or lunar eclipse.
- Saturn return – it takes about 28-30 years; after the Saturn return the important time-period of life at the age of 33 years is significant – as per yoga-science up to the age of 8 years is ‘bala- avastha’ that is a child is really a child; now the 2 solar-cycles of life shape our lives in different ways which is – 12.5×2 = 25 years + 8 years of bal-avastha = 33 years. It is that time-period of life which would define & decide our future in many ways.
The accident on 1st May 2015, at the age of 28 years, then mental health issues – viral encephalopathy and acute psychosis in May 2016, then the beginning of spiritual life & sadhana with the first pilgrimage in Jan 2017 at the age of 30 years, failed to defend myself in the court and sentenced to 1 month imprisonment in March 2019; then started a new career as astrologer and yoga-teacher in Oct 2019; then a trip to Kazakhstan after Saturn transit in Capricorn in Jan 2020 and then in 2020-2021, beginning of family life at the age of 33 years. The time-period from 28-33 years of age changed my life completely; also, these years have set the path of my future life and possibilities.
I started working on the spiritual program almost immediately as-soon-as I came back to India from Kazakhstan (details mentioned in My Story). Since then, I am living & working every day with a single aim & purpose of my life to make it a reality – a successful spiritual education-training program for people of India, Kazakhstan, and many other countries also. Every year I revise the content, add new content – just like a continuous software update of my whole spiritual-system, ideas- thoughts, the experiences & expressions. In my Dincharya, I am continuously upgrading-updating myself so that I can improve the spiritual program, efforts & approach, self-development for the development of spiritual program.
